Christmas in the Philippines, by Alex
Christmas is really different from here than in the Philippines. Because there’s more than one thing and they really have small small christmas trees there and they are a lot more poorer now. Really really really poor. And that’s what the people were like there before the hurricane that happened there. And I got to go to the beach near Christmas and I found this really big shell with my brother and I wanted to bring it home.
It was one of the most favorite parts of the year. And I really like it there in the Philippines so I really want to go there again. I liked to play with my cousins very much. Even there, they’re not kind of poor. But some of them are kind of rich. And they have pisos instead of dollars. Really it’s true, they look like pieces of gold. I felt really good there because at Momma’s house, there was more than one hammock. One they were just saving. My cousins really tried to make me feel better but sometimes they wouldn’t even let me in the place where I was going to sleep for a really long time. And I played a little bit of sports there with a little bit of sports that I made up.
And when I was on my way home, it was really amazing adventure. We took almost the same airport spots. It took really long to spot so we had to take rests like everywhere. And on our last flight, I was so glad that all of that sweat just came off of my feet. And I was jumping for joy.
